How HFTW became a Foundation
Heart For The World has a rich history of over 25 years ministering in the nations of the world. Dale Walker began Heart For The World in 1997 with a vision to give our very best to those who have the least. To show the hidden, hurting ones that God sees them. To empower hidden heroes on the front lines in some of the most difficult environments, so that they can break the cycle of poverty and change a generation for the Lord.
God put on Dale’s heart that this mission was not to be for one man or one organization, but it was for many churches, businesses, and individuals to join to make a difference TOGETHER. And that is why Heart For The World was formed.
Over the years, we have seen
over 75,000 decisions for Christ
Thousands of pastors have been trained
Over 2,00,000 meals have been served through Charlie’s Lunch and Hope Centers; both ministries originally launched under the Heart For The World banner
With that in mind, we are refining our focus to organize our efforts under the concept of a foundation. We have made, and will continue to make, so many great connections around the world, and we want to make it really simple for our partners to give to initiatives that are meaningful to them. That could be feeding kids, providing clean water, education, medical relief, or refugee support.
